My surgery was cancelled! We got up at 4:30am, we showered. We got the kids up and dressed. Over to Nina's house by 5:30. Headed to the hospital. Checked in. Back to my short stay room. Undressed, into a gown. Stuck 3 times to finally get an IV. Saw the anastealogist. Saw the surgeon. Was ready to go.
Then the OR nurse came in. A heating problem in the room. The maintenance guys would be in then we would go. Well then the heating fan is broken. It might be fixable, it might need a part from Seattle.
So we rescheduled and left.
As long as the OR is up and running we go back tomorrow. Same time, same place!
